As more and more people contact us for our services, we will require more pilots or operation controllers joining our pool. The first step to join us is to send us an email with your details and your CV. We will get back to you either way (I certainly remember how it felt when I was sending CVs out and getting no replies)!
Bear in mind that making it into the pool doesn't necessarily mean being offered a contract job. You will be contacted as and when required for a specific contract.
If you're looking for adventure, being able to fly a different aircraft every time, flying to places that others will only dream of (and sometimes have nightmares about them!), then you're in the right place!
Being a ferry pilot is not for the faint hearted: you'll have to have extensive knowledge of worldwide weather patterns, understand the risks involved with flying potential single engine pistons across hundreds of miles over the oceans, dealing with very fast turnarounds and looong days! Don't get me wrong: it's not all bad! I believe it's one of the most rewarding experiences there's out there! But it takes a certain type of person to do it. Not every pilot can be a ferry pilot!
Most of the work will be for single day jobs, flying customers with their own plane, or flying someone else's plane to take customers from A to B, wait there and take them back.
You must have VERY good customer service skills. WAY better than any airline pilot, who will just sit in the cockpit and have nothing to do with the customers in the back. This is not that kind of job!
Sometimes the customer will want to seat in the front, maybe have a chat, maybe not. The important thing is that you know how to read them and anticipate their needs.
Sometimes we will require ground operation officers to support either our own pilots, or pilots that have requested our fight support services. This could be at any time of day and night, and the remuneration will be dependant on the job (which will be discussed on a case by case basis).
Your responsibilities will include - but not limited to:
Experience in non-scheduled/charter flights is essential as this is a fast paced/ever changing environment.
Knowledge of ForeFlight and other aviation-related apps is welcome.
Send us a message! It's that easy! We'll get back to you within just a few hours! Alternatively, give us a call!
